Inspo ideas for a perfect picnic

The location is one of the most important things to consider for a picnic. My personal preference is somewhere away from everyone, a meadow, next to the river, the lake, etc. but if you do not have these options a park is a classic, or even your backyard!

Food is up to your personal preferences, but I have some ideas to share :

• Have foods that won't spoil in warm weather

• Easy make-ahead meals, like sandwiches

• Fruits and nuts are always a good choice

• Take away: You can just pick your favorite meal up and have your picnic.

• Cutting board and knife

• Picnic blanket

• Plate, glasses, napkins, utensils

• Hat

• Bottle of wine and opener

• Sunscreen

• Trash bag

• Water

• Hand sanitizer

• Your best friend

You don't need a theme for your picnic but if as me, you like to create beautiful spaces, pick a theme and get all in.

The classic picnic and the vintage-inspired are always my favorites choices.

Adding flowers to the setting is always the best idea.

What is a picnic without a basket?

There are so many beautiful options but before buying one check out that you will be able to fit all your items in it. I have 2 baskets, this one is so simple and lovely and it was a present, The other one carries all the items needed for the picnic. I will list it soon.

Who said picnics aren't for one? Grab your favorite book, magazine, music, or simply enjoy the views.

When not? I do not think there is a specific time of the week or the day to have a picnic.

It's an easy and relatively cheap option for dating, and if you choose a beautiful scenario it can be so romantic.

I always have the picnic basics in my car in case I find a spot and have a spontaneous picnic.
